Director: Rev. Adrian Lee
The principle objective of Men’s Ministry is to bring the men of Family Community Church to the knowledge of what God intended a man to be. Godly men develop as they are taught to be godly leaders in their families, in their communities, and in the Church. It is the mission of the Men’s Ministry to translate these principles into activities that will influence the furthering of God’s Kingdom.
We believe “iron sharpens iron.” As men, we are going to deal with some of the same issues and we have to be there for each other. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up” his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.
We have to love our wives as God loved the church and protect the covenant of marriage. Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.” We are also commanded to be examples and teach the younger men. Titus 2:1-2 and 6-8, “But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience.” “Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine, showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, of sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.”
We will teach biblically-based Christian doctrine under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Basic Christian principles of the uncompromised Word of God will be taught. The Men’s ministry teaching is comprised of Sunday Morning Worship and AM Bible Study, Wednesday Night Ministry, Accountability Group meetings and other FCC Events.
