The Family Community Church Women’s Ministry welcomes you to our page.

We welcome 2016 with new agendas set with varying hopes, plans, dreams and challenges.

What is priority number one on your list? While we may not be joining group sessions at the local gym en masse, the Women’s Ministry Bible Study will be encouraging a spiritual makeover of sorts in 2016 to discover God’s beauty within each of us.

Last year, we studied the women of The Bible, admiring the courage of Queen Esther, the boldness and humility of Ruth and the patience of Sarah. We were inspired by their commitment, obedience and willingness to serve God and others.

With these examples in mind, we progress with a power-packed study on ‘ The Fruit of the Spirit’. Our aim and number one priority for this year begins with a time of sanctification before our Father to receive a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit, that we may ‘bear fruit’ – that is, exhibit the characteristic personality of Jesus Christ.

Thus distinguished as true women of God, we will be empowered to serve others like the women so recently studied and most importantly, following the example of Jesus Himself.

As we sow into this study together, we will reap a harvest and the benefits: fruit is often vibrant and attractive in appearance, fragrant, nourishing and abundant. My prayer is that as a result of this study, God will use us to draw others to Him and into His Kingdom as we demonstrate His Love, Joy, Peace, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness and Self-Control.

Jesus said: “I am the Vine, you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in

This study will be a wonderful opportunity to put down deeper roots in the Word and promises to be engaging, stimulating and productive.

In an effort to reach as many women as possible, the following bible study classes will be offered:

Tuesday afternoons (12:15-1:00)

Wednesday evening (6:30-7:30)

“Finally, be strong in the lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
