We arrived in Russia on Friday morning. We were greeted by our host David and spent the first day in Russia’s Capital, the City of Moscow.
We visited the Kremlin and Red Square. We were able to visit some churches and other tourist sites as well. We ate at several Russian restaurants. The food was different yet surprisingly good. The people in Moscow reminded me of the people in New York, they are in a hurry and somewhat not welcoming. There are no freeways in Moscow. The majority of the people use the subways systems. I'm told that Moscow has one of greatest subway systems in the world. It appears quite sophisticated. Finally, on Friday-night we caught the overnight train to the city of Tombov.
