Deacon Nathan Moore started our day with devotion, entitled "Priceless"
The mission team was invited to the Australia Christian Fellowship Church Inc., in Canley Heights, just outside of Sydney.
We enjoyed the praise and worship service that was performed in several languages. Anthony Brown gave an inspiring presentation on how good God has been to him in the past, present and what he believes his future will be.
Pastor McGensy brought the Word. He challenged the people with three (3) questions if they wanted to receive the blessings of the Lord. First, ‘Do you have faith to believe in Jesus Christ for the full payment of your sins?’ Second, ‘In your quest for the blessing of the Lord are you exercising Faith or Religion?’ Third, ‘Are you willing to come out of your comfort zone?’ The message was followed with an anointed time of prayer. After the worship service was over we broke bread with church family.
We then proceeded to Pastor Emmanuel Wangi’s home for a personal visit and had the opportunity to pray and ask God to bless his home.
On Sunday evening Rev. Thomas Hite and Anthony Brown went to fellowship with one of the churches represented at the conference. Rev. Hite delivered the message and Anthony Brown shared words of wisdom. The pastor called me to let me know that the men did a fantastic job and that people were blessed.
Deacon Nathan Moore and Pastor McGensy went back to the conference center to close out the conference. Deacon Moore shared how the mission team has been blessed by being here in Australia, and how well received we were. He concluded his remarks with a trumpet solo entitled "Just a closer walk with thee." Pastor McGensy’s closing message was: "It’s Time to Cross Your Jordan River." After the message we had a special laying on of hands prayer for those that came forward.
This concluded our mission assignment in Australia. People stated how blessed this conference was for them personally. Pastor's stated that they will never be the same. They also stated that the training they received will benefit their churches. They want us to schedule a return visit. To God Be The Glory!
